Happy Anniversary to Me

(Click on each individual image and a larger sized image will appear)

I have been married for 11 years as of today!! YAY! To celebrate I made this heart template. I made this page to go along with it. Feel free to use this anyway you want, you can use the overall shape as a template or use the gray sections as photos. You can even make that white section a photo block as well.

Date changed and other stuff!

Please note that the closing date for the contributing and featured artists:
Have you stuff sent to me by the 5th of November, I will announce the contributors by the 7-10ish of November. I decided I needed some contributors sooner rather than later.

Also, before I even thought to put out a call for this (a few days ago), I asked one super talented person to contribute to my blog!! I am so excited and lucky to have her contributing! Her style and techniques are cutting edge and I know you will enjoy her posts. I will do a formal introduction for her next week, so stay tuned! Until then please check out Delaina Burns on her blog to learn more about her!

Here is a question answered:
I need more people to apply for featured artists as well. The difference is contributing artists will contribute on a regular basis for site. Featured artists will be featured once, possibly on Fridays, and they will get to share whatever they want while having the whole blog day to themselves with links to their blogs and galleries (and kit club/design teams if you like)! They can share as many tips as wanted and such. If you have less time but still want to be involved please apply for a featured artist!

Looking for contributing and featured artists!

NOTE: I have changed the ending date.
Hi everyone. Are you looking for a fun place to share your work and your creative process? Galleries are great, but it often hard to post the details of what you have done.
I am looking for a artists to contribute to this blog . I am looking for a few people to share a couple pages + something like:
-A template
-A sketch
-A pattern of something you make
-Photographs of a technique you do
-Pages or projects on how you use my templates
-Anything else you can think of
It might be a great way to promote a kit club or design team site you are on :)

The commitment is made to fun and doable for anyone. You do not have a certain create a specific number of posts a months! It is totally up to you how involved you want to be! You can quit anytime, there will be no hard feelings.. I want this to be more a "fun" thing rather than a "design team." We will have a fun little chat group to get to know each other and plan other things. Please remember this is not a design team call ... it is route to find contributors and featured artists!

The blog will be a great way to get exposure while sharing your creative process. This blog is attracting more and more people everyday and reaches many countries around the word. I will create a side bar with links to the contributor's name and link to their blog/gallery.

What I am looking for a different is creativity, the willingness to share techniques and people who like to have fun!
Please send the following to this email address: scrappingpam73@yahoo.com by November 5, 2009.
1. Your contact info
2. A link to your gallery and/or blog.
3. Three of your favorite projects, please make it under 500k.
4. Your ideas for making it a fun place to be and contribute
(no resume is needed)

I will also be selecting featured artists, who will be able to share their stuff one day soon! I will announce the contributors November 7-10ish. Note: I already have one person I selected a few days ago that will contribute, I am excited to announce her next week.
Thanks so much.

Photoblock Template

(Click on each individual image and a larger sized image will appear)
This template was a made a bit different than my page, but I thought would post it anyways! I haven't had a chance to make anything with it yet. If you like space in between you photos and paper, use the black line as a guide.
This "go slidin'" layout was originally inspired by a page by Kim Moreno. If you have seen her work, you would love it :)
Enjoy!

I have used this template several times! I am so addicted to this shape. You can shrink it or use it full sized! Don't forget to email me with the layouts you do! scrappingpam73@yahoo.com

Flower Template!

I was originally inspired to create this template based on what two things? One you can find in your house and one is the shape of an ad for what product? Do you know?

Circle Template!

Click on each individual image and a larger sized image will appear)

Since this is almost a 12" by 12" sized circle, here is the helpful hint again: simply print it out in sections and tape it together. That way you can see the whole thing before you begin cutting.
Hope you enjoy!

Two Favorites!

Here are two of my favorite templates! I loved making the Toledo Zoo page. If you do not have a 12" by 12" printer, simply print it out in sections and tape it together. That way you can see the whole thing before you begin cutting. The curvy template is one that I have used over and over! Hope you enjoy ;)
BTW- are there any requests for things? Post below if you have any!

A New Template + Sketch!

I would love to see your takes on my sketch and template! :) Stay tuned, I am going to make a template for my "Zoo page".
The reason my sketches and templates aren't in the same format is some are older than others and rather than re-doing them I am just posting them now. :)

Photo Templates and Stuff

About a year ago I got a chance to write my first article for Creating Keepsakes Magazine called "Page Carvings." You can view all of my templates at this link. There are five total shapes if you want to check it out. First you print off the templates. They should print off the right size, but if not, save them and print them out in another program. You use the overall shape on a solid piece of cardstock and then cut the light gray sections for the photos. Here are some more templates I have made in the past. I included one example of a published layout and the corresponding template I made for the page. Stay tuned as there will be a lot more stuff in the future!

And one last item, a fun sketch I did a while back!

Gift Boxes

These are fun gift box templates. You can print them out and use them to trace onto your pieces of patterned paper! Dotted is folding and solid is cutting.
